SKETCHBOOKING

Welcome to my sketch blog where I will share my journey one page at a time.

When you are drawing, painting or creating in any way you have no choice but to focus on what you’re doing. Everything else goes away. It’s instant therapy. I’ve been a professional artist my whole life and I’m embarrassed to admit I have a bookshelf full of (mostly) empty sketchbooks. I've never quite mastered a good sketchbook habit and I’m on a mission to change that. I’m an old dog eager to learn new tricks and explore new materials. I’m looking for new ways to stay excited enough to fill some of those empty books. Perfect and precious pages be gone! Admittedly, I am a scribbler. I need to be messy and I’ve discovered that expressive sketching is quickly becoming my jam. Here I will share it all.- the good and the bad and the ugly! Maybe I can encourage you as I go. Check out my ever-evolving list of tips, tricks and favorite supplies here.
