Lake Hope

My first fore into experimenting in a sketchbook using new materials - Neocolor11, watercolor and colored pencils. It’s simply too hot to venture out for long so I snapped this picture of the lake down the street in my neighborhood. Probably spent too much time on this and I suppose if I were sketching on location that would not have happened but I had too much fun playing with these mediums and working directly in my sketchbook.
