I began my career as a fashion illustrator for a Miami department store back when that was actually a job - and a fun one it was while it lasted! Being a career artist has not been easy. It’s definitely not for the faint of heart. Art jobs came and went but I remained determined to find a way to make a living as an artist, reinventing myself over and over again - even if I had to learn something new. Actually learning new things was the fun part! I’m all about a good challenge. Just tell me I can’t and I’ll show you how I can! I’m grateful to have had so many opportunities and in the process I continued to learn and grow as an artist. Now it’s my turn to focus on me and what I want to do which is to simply remain inspired and continue to explore my love of painting.

Landscape and nature remains my muse. I’m fascinated with the way color and light moves through the natural world. Trees, woods, paths, gardens, flowers - it’s impossible not to be inspired by all the beauty nature holds.One step out the door and you’ve got it all right there!
